Veterans’ Day

Veteran Growers will be on hand to share mustache-growing and money-raising tips with newcomers. An informal meeting of growers and a rally (of sorts) as we get ourselves ready for another great season. Business cards and donation sheets will be there for handout.
Shaving Day Kick-Off Celebration

The opening event to kick off the growing season. Come, clean-shaved prepared to have your photo snapped, give your M4K ‘handle’ and mingle with other noble mustache-makers. Photographs taken with Elisa Szopa throughout the night. DJ sets by Spencer Lokken of Orchard Lounge.
Weekly Mustache Checkpoints
Checkpoints offer Growers a chance to get their progress photo taken, turn in donations, and find out who’s mustache is having the Best Week Ever. There are also prizes and collegiality. For the adoring masses, Checkpoints offer the single best chance to stroke a mustache, carpe diem! Nominal donations ($2) are taken at the doors.

By Week Three, your mustache is poised to make millions! Come out for one last Checkpoint to learn how to cash in on that stache before the big finale. Aspiring World Beard & Moustache Championship Contestant Jeremy Scheuch will host!

$5 - all profits go to Off The Street Club!
Doors at 7:30 for the public, Growers arrive at 7 for sign-in.The dash for the best ’stache and the most cash concludes at this must-see PARADE OF MUSTACHES. Yes, our fierce Growers are going to grin and bear it (bare it?) as they go head-to-head vying for your undying love, your wallet and the title of Sweetest ‘Stache. Post-mustache-pageant, the mustachioed musicians of Bird Ate My Donut will take the stage, followed by headliners Animate Objects!
Third Thursdays at Off The Street Club
Mustaches for Kids - Chicago invites its Growing Community to learn more about the wonderful youth programs that ‘Stache is supporting by attending a Third Thursday during Growing Season. Information on volunteering at the Club through this program can be found below. Growers please consider lending not only your face, but also your time to the Off The Street Club and the kids it supports.

- 5:45pm, December 20 - Holiday theme Thursday
Transportation to the Club is provided. Everyone is encouraged to ride the OTSC bus to the Club. Please meet in front of the Equitable Building (look for the OTSC school bus) 401 N. Michigan (across from the Wrigley Building). Bus pick-up at 5:45 and will return participants approximately at 10pm. If you absolutely must drive, please plan on arriving at the Club no earlier than 6:30 p.m. RSVP by 5pm, Tuesday prior to the event to: stefanie.janec@mindshareworld.com. Please indicate if you will be driving or riding the bus.
